“X-Men: Days of Future Past” combines the casts of the original “X-Men” trilogy and the “X-Men: First Class” film.
The story is set in a dystopian future where mutant-kind is on the brink of extinction due to the creation of Sentinels, powerful robots designed to hunt mutants. In a desperate attempt to save both mutants and humans, Wolverine’s consciousness is sent back to the 1970s to prevent an event that triggers the Sentinel program. The film follows his journey as he teams up with the younger versions of Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, and Beast to change the course of history.
