Jackman brings charm and swordplay flair, though the script doesn’t always give him room to breathe. Beckinsale impresses as a vampire hunter with a tragic past. The film leans into fantasy rather than realism, delivering action, romance, and creature features in full force.
Though dated, it’s a nostalgic tribute to Universal monster films.
