Brett Ratner directs this third X-Men film where the team faces the dawn of a cure that could erase mutant identity. Jackman’s Wolverine plays a central role, especially in the tragic turn of Jean Grey (Berry) and her transformation into the Phoenix.
Jackman continues to anchor the franchise with emotional weight. McKellen gives one of his most dramatic speeches as Magneto. Though divisive among fans, the film ends an era.
