What Are You Feeding Your Soul?
In a world overflowing with information, noise, and distractions, it’s easy for our minds to become cluttered with things that do not glorify God. Every scroll, click, and binge-watch moment is an input — and what goes into your mind eventually shapes your thoughts, your actions, and your spiritual health.
The image above speaks volumes: “You can’t have garbage on your mind and be a Christian. You’ve got to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This powerful statement is drawn from Romans 12:1–2, which urges believers:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Let’s take a moment to reflect:
What are you allowing into your mind on a daily basis?
Are you consuming content that builds your faith or erodes it?
Are your thoughts saturated with truth, grace, and wisdom — or with fear, lust, comparison, and negativity?
Just like a diet affects our physical health, what we “feed” our mind affects our spiritual life. You can’t expect a thriving relationship with Christ if you’re constantly feeding your soul with worldly trash — gossip, violence, explicit content, toxic comparison, and spiritual apathy. Your mind becomes what you meditate on.
📵 It’s time to unplug from what poisons you and plug into what purifies you.
📖 It’s time to saturate your thoughts with Scripture, truth, and the presence of God.
🙏 It’s time to ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and transform your life from the inside out.
This isn’t about perfection — it’s about pursuit. Pursuit of purity. Pursuit of peace. Pursuit of a mind and heart aligned with Christ.Let today be the day you take back control of what you allow into your mind. Be intentional. Be wise. Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23).
🕊️ Choose transformation. Choose truth. Choose Christ.
