In Escape from Alcatraz (2025), the story picks up decades later — a modern-day U.S. Marshal discovers a hidden code left behind by the escapees, igniting a thrilling hunt through Cold War secrets, faked identities, and a trail of bodies leading from San Francisco to South America.
