Van Helsing 2 (2025)

Death never sleeps—and neither does Van Helsing. After years wandering forgotten temples and haunted forests, the famed monster hunter returns to a world teetering on the brink of darkness. Vampires are regrouping, witches are invoking old gods, and something ancient stirs beneath the soil of Eastern Europe. Gabriel Van Helsing, bloodied but unbroken, teams up with a rogue witch (Eva Green) and a reluctant scholar (Luke Evans) to prevent a resurrection that could end mankind.
Their journey cuts through cursed lands, crypts whispering with dead tongues, and cities where humanity barely holds on. Flashbacks peel back the mystery of Van Helsing’s origins, revealing a man more tied to darkness than light. Jessica De Gouw returns as a vampire queen who must choose between eternal vengeance and reluctant redemption. The world is more brutal than before, and the monsters now wear many faces—some even human.
Hugh Jackman is magnificent, weathered yet defiant, wielding both crossbow and conviction. Eva Green mesmerizes with serpentine grace and moral ambiguity. Evans brings quiet wisdom, while De Gouw’s arc strikes the soul with raw sorrow. Visually, the film is gothic poetry—every shot a canvas smeared with blood, faith, and ash. “Van Helsing 2” is horror redefined, elegant and explosive.
