Constantine 2 – The Devil’s Not Done Yet

🔥

After nearly two decades, Keanu Reeves steps back into the trench coat and smoldering shadows of John Constantine in Constantine 2, set for release in September 2025. Directed once again by Francis Lawrence, this supernatural thriller promises darker magic, higher stakes, and a plunge deeper into the twisted realms between Heaven and Hell.

The sequel finds Constantine haunted by visions of an impending apocalypse—a war between celestial and infernal forces that could consume the mortal world. When an angel is found murdered under mysterious, unholy circumstances, Constantine becomes the prime suspect, forcing him to strike uneasy bargains with old enemies to clear his name and uncover the truth.

Tilda Swinton returns as the enigmatic Gabriel, while Peter Stormare reprises his scene-stealing role as Lucifer, now with his own cryptic agenda. Joining the cast is Anya Taylor-Joy as a gifted medium whose powers could either save or doom humanity.

Expect a grittier, more atmospheric dive into Constantine’s world—rain-slick streets, cursed artifacts, grotesque demons rendered in stunning practical/CGI hybrids, and morally murky choices that blur the line between savior and sinner. Composer Bear McCreary brings a haunting, industrial-tinged score to match the film’s brooding tone.

Francis Lawrence teases: “This is Constantine unleashed. We’re exploring corners of the occult and the afterlife that even John’s afraid to walk through.”

Release Date: September 26, 2025
Rating (Early Buzz): ★★★★½ – A chilling, stylish return to one of Keanu Reeves’ most iconic roles.
