First Kill (2017) – A Deadly Game of Survival

⚡
Directed by Steven C. Miller, First Kill is a tense crime-thriller that blends action, family drama, and suspense. The film stars Hayden Christensen as Will, a Wall Street broker who returns to his hometown to reconnect with his son, only to find himself pulled into a violent game of life and death.
During a father-son hunting trip, Will and his son Danny witness a murder connected to a botched bank robbery. When Danny is taken hostage, Will is forced into a dangerous alliance with the very criminal who tore his family apart. As he races against time, Will must outwit not only ruthless robbers but also the local police chief, played by Bruce Willis, who may have secrets of his own.
The film leans on fast-paced shootouts, tense standoffs, and the desperation of a father willing to risk everything to save his child. With its small-town setting and escalating tension, First Kill delivers a stripped-down thriller atmosphere that keeps the stakes high until the final confrontation.
Though it received mixed reviews, the film drew attention for Bruce Willis’s hardened screen presence and Christensen’s portrayal of a father pushed to his limits.
