Saving Private Ryan (1998)
“Saving Private Ryan” is regarded as one of the greatest war films in the world. The movie depicts the intensity of war during the D-Day invasion at Normandy in World War II. Lieutenant John H. Miller (played by Tom Hanks) and his team receive orders to find a paratrooper, Private James Francis Ryan (played by Matt Damon).
Miller’s team faces the challenge of not knowing where Ryan landed after parachuting. Thus, the search mission is far from straightforward. After enduring numerous hardships and dangers, the team eventually locates Ryan. However, Ryan refuses to leave, unwilling to abandon his fellow soldiers. Miller and his team decide to stay and assist Ryan’s unit. Together, they undergo an incredibly fierce battle.
