“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is set 19 years after the events of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The story follows Harry Potter, now an Ministry employee, and his son Albus Severus Potter, who struggles with the weight of his family legacy.

The plot begins with Albus being sorted into Slytherin, which creates tension between him and his father. Feeling misunderstood, Albus befriends Scorpius Malfoy, the son of Draco Malfoy. The two embark on a risky adventure involving time travel, using a Time-Turner to change past events in hopes of improving their present.

Their actions have unintended consequences, creating alternate timelines and endangering their lives and the wizarding world. Themes of friendship, parental expectations, and the complexities of legacy are explored as the characters confront their choices and relationships.
