The film follows Rose Da Silva, a concerned mother whose young daughter, Sharon, experiences disturbing nightmares related to a place called Silent Hill. To uncover the origins of these nightmares, Rose takes Sharon to Silent Hill, an abandoned town shrouded in a mysterious fog.

In Silent Hill, Rose and Sharon become separated, and Rose must unravel the dark mysteries of the town to rescue her daughter. Along the way, she discovers that Silent Hill has ties to a history of violence and destruction, and she must confront terrifying supernatural forces to uncover the truth about the town and save Sharon.
