Nearly two decades after the gridiron classic, the underdogs return—Paramount Pictures has dropped the first trailer for The Longest Yard 2 (2025), directed by Peter Segal. Packed with bruising football action, outrageous comedy, and heartfelt camaraderie, this sequel brings the prison-yard game into a new era.

Adam Sandler reprises his role as Paul Crewe, now retired but dragged back into the chaos when a new generation of inmates demands their shot at glory against corrupt guards. With the prison system under scrutiny, Crewe must mentor a ragtag team of misfits who are as unpredictable off the field as they are unstoppable on it.

Joining the cast is Kevin Hart as the fast-talking quarterback who thinks he’s the team’s star, John Cena as a powerhouse guard with zero chill, and Ice Cube as the new warden determined to crush the inmates’ spirit.
