The Expendables 5 – Old Blood, New War

⚡
Lock and load—the world’s toughest mercenaries are back. Lionsgate has unleashed the first explosive trailer for The Expendables 5 (2025), directed by David Leitch, promising bone-crunching fights, heavy firepower, and a new global threat that only the Expendables can stop.
Sylvester Stallone returns as Barney Ross for what’s being teased as his final ride, while Jason Statham (Lee Christmas) steps into a bigger leadership role, taking the fight to enemies deadlier than ever. This time, the mission pulls the Expendables into Eastern Europe, where a rogue private army armed with next-generation weapons threatens to plunge the world into all-out war.
The all-star cast grows even bigger with Keanu Reeves joining as a mysterious assassin-for-hire, Charlize Theron as a lethal arms dealer playing both sides, and Dave Bautista as the ruthless commander leading the enemy forces. Fan favorites Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and 50 Cent also return, keeping the firepower heavy and the one-liners sharp.
The trailer explodes with mayhem: black-ops skydives into enemy territory, tank battles tearing across frozen tundra, knife fights in neon-lit nightclubs, and a final showdown set inside a collapsing missile silo. Cinematographer Jonathan Sela amps up the grit with a mix of practical stunts and stylized spectacle, while Tyler Bates delivers a thundering rock-orchestral score.
Director David Leitch calls The Expendables 5 “a brutal, adrenaline-charged sendoff for the old guard, and a passing of the torch to the next generation of action legends.”
With its mix of nostalgic grit, fresh star power, and globe-spanning carnage, The Expendables 5 (2025) promises to be the franchise’s most explosive entry yet.
