The Great Wall 2

A decade after repelling the Tao Tei, William Garin (Matt Damon) remains in China, advising the Nameless Order. Commander Lin Mae (Jing Tian) has risen to lead, while General Shao (Andy Lau) oversees a peacetime military. But seismic mining operations awaken an even older subterranean species — more intelligent than the Tao Tei and capable of organized warfare.
Pedro Pascal’s Tovar, now a semi-respectable mercenary, returns with critical intelligence: the creatures are advancing toward the capital through hidden underground channels. Political leaders argue over whether to negotiate, relocate, or fight. Garin and Lin Mae defy orders to launch a preemptive strike, venturing into enemy territory to locate the hive.
Their journey uncovers an ancient underground city — evidence that these creatures once ruled the surface before being driven underground. The final battle merges aerial assaults, wall-mounted siege weapons, and close-quarter combat deep inside the hive. A major sacrifice secures a fragile victory, but the film closes with a warning: the war is not over, only delayed.
